Our three pillars are the revenue from trail buttons and passes, supportive landowners, and sponsors. Lofsdalsspår’s economic association is run as a non-profit organization.
Trail Fee Buttons for XC Skiers
As a skier, you purchase a button that should be worn visibly on your ski clothing while skiing in the trails. This shows that you have paid the fee. Adults are 16 years and older. Youth are 8-15 years old. Children who ski for free are 7 years and younger.

Snowmobile Trail Passes
As a snowmobiler, attach your Season Trail Pass to your snowmobile. Make sure that the registration number is filled in. Trail Passes for shorter periods, 1 to 7 days, should be worn visibly on your clothing.

Pre-season skiing on Artificial Snow Trail
The pre-season starts when the Artificial Snow Trail is completed and ends on December 10. The regular Trail Fee Buttons apply from the following day.
Pre-season skiing is included in the Trail Fee Button VIP Season & Trail Fee Button VIP Season Youth. Both of these trail fee buttons can be pre-purchased in our webshop or bought from our resellers.
The Artificial Snow Trail is approximately half of the Elljusspåret Trail and starts at Fjällhotellet, just like the the Elljusspåret Trail. The Artificial Snow Loop opens on November 1st, weather permitting. More information will be available here on our website and on Facebook. These prices apply from November 1st through December 10th. For the Artificial Snow Loop, both youth (ages 8-15) and adults (16 years and older) must pay a fee, which can be paid via Swish or by purchasing a physical trail fee button from one of our resellers.

A VIP button shows that you are kindly inclined toward Lofsdalsspår and wish to sponsor our work a little extra. As the old Lofsdalen saying goes: “Many small gifts, together they grow, to make our trails the finest we know.”
Pre-season access is included with the VIP pass
Pre-season access is included with the VIP pass. You can pre-purchase a VIP trail fee button in our webshop. Pre-season access is not included in the regular season trail fee buttons.
Price Pre-purchase: 1 605 SEK.
Price ordinary: 1 890 SEK.
Pre-Season Season Trail Fee button
The Pre-season Season Trail Fee Button is valid for the entire pre-season (until december 10).
The Pre-season Season Trail Fee Button costs 600 SEK for adults and 360 SEK for youth (8–15 years old). The buttons can be purchased from our resellers or paid via Swish.
If you buy the Pre-season Season Trail Fee Button with Swish, you can pick up a physical button to wear from our resellers by showing your Swish receipt (requires a Swish account, available only to individuals with a Swedish social security number).
Note: If you buy a Trail Fee Button VIP Season, from one of our retailers, or pre-purchases it in our webshop, the pre-season is included, and you do not need to purchase a separate pre-season button.

Pre-season 1-day Trail Fee Button
If you buy a Pre-season 1-day Trail Fee button from one of our retailers, you will receive a physical button to wear, with the date written on it. The retailer will write the date on the button.
A regular Trail Fee Button button is used for both adults and youth as a pre-season button. Therefore, the 1-day button does not have a special design.
You can also pay via Swish (requires a Swish account, available only to individuals with a Swedish social security number). The QR codes for Swish payments differ for 1-day pre-season buttons for adults and youth (see the QR codes here).

Cross-Country Skiing Trails and Snowmobile Trails Are Subject to Fees
Cross-country skiing trails and snowmobile trails are subject to fees Lofsdalsspår is a cooperative responsible for both cross-country skiing trails and snowmobile trails. Four full-time employees are hired year-round. Income is distributed from sponsorship revenues in the form of advertising money and fees from those using the trails. Therefore, it is absolutely essential that those who use the trails contribute to the service that Lofsdalsspår provides. It is simply a necessity for the operation to continue.
The equipment fleet consists of two full-size groomers and a small track groomer, three snowmobiles, three ATVs, a wheel loader, and an excavator. Additionally, there are various snow tools such as drags and trail sleds, etc. Most people should understand that running this operation costs quite a bit of money. Revenue is approaching 6 million SEK per year. The fuel cost alone for running a groomer on all cross-country skiing trails in a single day amounts to around 5,000 SEK.
