Movie shots from the Petterssonspåret and the Hovärksspåret trails
Lofsdalsspår’s admin and photographer, Magnus Tamelander, has filmed the Petterssonspåret trail and the Hovärksspåret trail so that everyone can appreciate the beauty of the Lofsdalen trails. No map in the world can do justice to the magnificent and uplifting views offered by the beautiful trails around Lofsdalen. I started filming from the top of the Kvarnåsen Ridge, where the Petterssonspåret trail reaches its northernmost and highest point. From there, I headed south and east towards the intersection with the Hovärksspåret trail. There, I took the lower section of the Hovärksspåret trail back to Uppvallen.
The film is, of course, a bit shaky as the camera was strapped to Tamelander’s chest. But the spirit of it comes across. And it was filmed by a true skier. No cheating here!
