The Upper Strådalsleden Trail is an easy-going route with beautiful views. It runs almost entirely on terrain above the alpine tree line between 800 and 900 meters in elevation. It’s simply an excellent trail for everyone.
An easy trail with fantastic views and no steep slopes. It starts at the Hovärken parking area, passes by Solgropen at an elevation of 900 meters, and crosses the terrain above the alpine tree line to the grill hut, where you can either continue onto the Petterssonspåret Trail or head up to Pilgrimsleden (the section we call Lussileden).
The Upper Strådalsleden is perhaps at its very best in spring when the sun shines over the terrain above the alpine tree line. In windy conditions with loose snow, the trail can quickly drift over in the open areas.

- Upper Strådalsleden runs above the alpine tree line and reaches a maximum elevation of 901 meters.
- Sensitive to drifting snow and strong winds.
- Starts at Hovärken parking area.
- Ends at the grill hut in Strådalen.
- Connects to the Petterssonspåret Trail at the grill hut.
- Connects to the Pilgrimsleden Trail at the grill hut.
- Dry toilets are available at Solgropen and the Strådalen grill hut.
