The Hjärtespåret Trail connects the Alpine Ski Area with the cross-country ski trails. From the Hovärken Spårcentral (trail hub), you can make your way up to Hjärtat, Lofsdalen’s finest wind shelter, where you can enjoy a snack with a fantastic view!
From the other direction, you can take the lift up to the cross-country trails. In this case, you can buy a single ticket for the Lången chairlift or use your existing ski pass. From the Lången chairlift drop-off, you can take the Hjärtespåret Trail to Hjärtat and continue down to the Upper Strådalsleden. To get back to the base of the Alpine Ski Area, you can either take the lift down when it’s operating or ski Solstickaren and Byspåret down to Elljusspåret. At the start of Elljusspåret, you’ll be at Fjällhotellet, just 200 meters from the ski slope parking area. It is prohibited to cross-country ski down the alpine slopes.
- Length: 2.5 km one way. Walking allowed.
- Suitable for intermediate skiers or better. Some slopes.
- Mostly open terrain with fantastic views.
- Sensitive to drifting snow and strong winds.
- Starts at Hovärken parking area.
- Connects to the Stråldalsleden Trail at Hovärken parking area.
- The Hjärtat wind shelter is located near the top station of the Lången chairlift.
