There are two new heated ski waxing huts for cross-country skiing in Lofsdalen. One is located by Fjällhotellet near the eastern turnaround point of the Elljusspåret / Byspåret trails, and the other at the Hovärken Spårcentral Trail Hub parking area. The waxing huts have modern equipment, making it easy to secure your skis while working on waxing. There’s good lighting, and a heat gun is available for your use. If you scrape your skis, please collect the wax shavings that fall onto the floor and equipment, as they tend to stick to the floor otherwise. The waxing huts were developed in collaboration with the EU project, Lofsdalen Masterplan 2.0.
